Securities
Benefits to the Donor
When giving securities you have held for more than one year, the full market value of the security is tax deductible on the date you transfer ownership of the security to Country Day. Giving appreciated securities offers the additional benefit of eliminating the need to pay capital gains tax on the security's increase in value.
How to Give Securities
To give securities, download the Securities Transfer Form and send it to the Development Office.
Endowed Fund Gifts
The Greenwich Country Day School has a number of donor-established endowed funds that are each restricted to a specific purpose.
