High School And College Matriculation

A full-time department of Secondary School Advising works individually with students and families to identify high school options geared to each student's strengths and interests.

Providing individualized guidance and expertise, our director and associate director of Secondary School Advising help graduating students gain admittance to top secondary schools. In the process, students receive training in skills and competencies for long-term success, including interviewing, resume development, self-assessment, and testing strategies.

Building on their strong academic preparation at Country Day, after secondary school, GCDS graduates go on to attend top colleges and universities.
